OMSF Symposium 2025: Updates

Unbelievable.

OMSF Symposium 2025 is one month away!

Thanks to the incredible interest from across the community, registration for the OMSF Symposium 2025 is now closed. We’ve officially hit capacity, and we’re excited to welcome everyone who signed up! If you are absolutely dying to come to the event, please reach out to Zachary Baker at zachary.baker@omsf.io maybe he can pull some strings for you.

The event will take place Friday, May 9th at Museum of Science in Boston MA. The full itinerary is now live on the event page, with sessions spanning core project keynotes, engaging partner talks, and community updates. Be sure to make a note - there will be a conference dinner on May 8th, the evening before the symposium. We welcome all those attending the Free Energy Workshop as well. It's going to be a blast!

Here is the event page again.

Our symposiums brings together contributors from all across our project ecosystem - OpenFold, Open Force Field, Open Free Energy, OpenADMET, Rosetta, BPDMC, Alchemistry, and others — as well as researchers, tool developers, industry experts, and community members working to strengthen the open molecular software ecosystem. This one promises to be amazing. We are so excited to see you!

If you’ve registered, you’re all set — there’s nothing else you need to do right now. We’ll be following up soon via email looking for a quick confirmation about logistic and with ways to connect ahead of the event. For starters, we will have ample food (and coffee!), so no worries about that. More info can be found at the event page.

Again, be sure to check out the Free Energy Workshop, hosted by our newest project Alchemistry. This meeting a storied, global tradition shared amongst the best and brightest computational chemists - registration is still open for the three day meet up. If you are in Boston for us, consider checking them out May 6th!

Thanks again for your enthusiasm and support. We’re looking forward to seeing you in May!
